By the light of a Shandore moon
The dogs are howling
And the wind sings in tune
The old man shuffles
Toward the garden gate
Looks to the sky
And says"God you can wait"
I have something to finish
On this clear sky night
There is time I know I'm right
There is a rustle in the grass
As the wind shifts its pace
A smile appears on the old mans face
I am in no hurry to end this life
Besides I have to say goodnight to my wife.
