I received an email from a friend. I sent her a wish for a happy thanksgiving, and knowing that we both have endured a lot of crap in our respective lives. I told her that regardless of the situation, We both have some how keep standing, and in the big picture of life that is a good thing. Might meet our expectations of where we want to be in life but it is a good thing. She replied about she hope that we both find our individual good karma boat. I could see in her case vast opportunities for the happen, me I am just happy for the simple things and getting to the next day. Yeah it is a boring life but as much crap has happening out of nowhere, it is good not have a high profile and great expectations to be shatter by simple phone call, not once but twice. Divorce and deployment :-).
However Good Karma Boat, nice concept wonder what the odds are....Well I was at the gym last night thinking Good Karma Boat, me. Yeah right...Then It dawned on me. When I dropped my kids off to their mothers on Thanksgiving, I stopped at a local c-store to purchase a powerball ticket. Bought my quick pick for 10 drawings, I noticed the last day of my tickets Drawing for the Powerball was Dec 26. Dec 26 being my ex's birthday.
The odds of winning the powerball are like 1 : 36,567.893, The odds of the drawing landing on your exs birthday, twice every 7 years, drawings on Wednesday and Saturday. To win the Powerball, on your ex wife's birthday probably the most priceless Good Karma Boat in the world.
