Here’s the situation:
Girl meets boy. They date for 4 years and then marry. Stay married for 14 years. Before marriage both worked hard toward the same goals. During this marriage there have been ups and downs, like most marriages have. Girl works hard. Boy barely ever works. Girl worked full time job and a part time job while going to college to get better job and have a better future for their family. Boy still barely works and complains about not enough money. Girl gets better job. Boy decides it’s okay to stay out at night or leave for hours during the night while girl goes to bed early so she can get up in the morning to work and support her family. Girl thinks boy is having an affair (gone without reason, money missing in bank account, etc.). Girl tries to be better wife so boy will want to stay home and be with her.
During this time (the last two years) girl has told boy she is lonely and unhappy. Girl was very honest and blunt about her feelings to boy. Girl has repeatedly asked boy to move out. Boy thinks she is not serious.
Girl removes boy from bank account. If an affair is happening she isn’t paying for it! Boy straightens up for a while and then it’s back to the beginning. Girl finds out it isn’t an affair, boy is strung out on drugs. Girl sticks it out “for better or worse”. Boy goes to rehab. Says he is still clean, gets a job. Money is missing from boy’s paycheck that can’t be accounted for to girl. Boy swears he is not on drugs. Girl finds out boy started his own bank account in the town he works in. (boy has had job for 6 weeks so far.)
Girl tells boy she wants him to move out. Boy thinks girl will change her mind. Girl doesn’t change her mind and now boy says stuff like “my name is on the house deed also” or “I’m not leaving. You are my wife and you will like me again”. Girl tells boy the hell is not freezing over anytime soon! Girl tells boy she is not in love with boy anymore and that boy has caused so much hurt and heartbreak to girl that there is no fixing it.
How does girl get boy to understand that while girl cares about boy she doesn’t love boy in the husband / wife way and that girl just wants to go on with her life without boy. Girl wants to be free to do as she pleases and to find happiness again. How does girl get boy to leave (not an option for girl to leave as she pays the house payment and children are still at home)?
