Good Morning. It’s Monday, it’s fall time and well if it’s fall time things fall right? Well in Pompano Beach Florida a man there let’s call him a patron of an establishment decided to sue over his time time. Apparently a glass mirror shattered and he sustained a cut above his eyebrow. The Place dooly named was called the “Boobie Trap” Hmmm sounds like he knew what he was getting into…the story: Visiting a strip club has its risks -- and it's not just getting caught by your honey.
A Florida man is suing the Booby Trap club in Pompano Beach.
Charles Privette said a stripper's shoe flew off while she was doing a pole dance, breaking a mirrored glass ceiling, which led to the falling shoe and shattered glass hitting him. He said the club should have made sure the exotic dancer was practicing safe stripping. The lawsuit filed in Broward County by 35-year-old Charles Privette says the Booby Trap breached its duty when its employee failed to perform her routine in a reasonably safe manner. The suit seeks at least $15,000 in damages. Privette's attorney says his client suffered a small cut to his eyebrow, headaches and nose bleeds because of the Jan. 14 pole dance. Booby Trap general manager George Gettinger acknowledges Paramedics were called but says injuries were minor. The Paramedics thought the injury was not severe enough for them to be called in, however after taking a look around they were glad they had taken that call… Ok let’s talk there are 13 to 14 reasons why this story makes no sense and his case should be reversed on to the plaintiff. Let me be Judge Judy for a second! Gosh I hate her… All the Judge programs are for the birds…but I will take the roll of Judge Judy…Gosh I feel sexy in my black robe…ooops! I wasn’t supposed to speak my mind…where was I? Oh yeah…Mr. Plaintiff! Do you realize where you were at when you entered the establishment known as one “Boobie Trap” ? Hmmm Hmm???? Ok then Sit down and shut up! First off, I should throw the book at you however since Ms. Domineeck has already thrown a shoe at you I will refrain. You enter this place and think for one moment OSHA’S work ethics pertain to you and them? (Occupational Safety and Health Administration for those who do not run in those circles) (( Oh and Judge Judy would not explain the abbrivation so this is Marty again)) (((Does one add a set of brackets if they keep explaining or am I way off base here?))) Moving on… So OSHA does not live here and you were in the wrong! You enter a strip club and decided to strike it rich when a dancer failed to perform her routine in a matter safe for you to watch… did you realize Ms. what’s your name again? Oh Yeah Domineeck lost her shoe she had no idea the extent of her shoe would have on the glass ceiling let alone mean it malicious are predetermined in anyway shape or form, and for you to take this good natured girls trade and try to put her out of work for your own personal gain…well that is not going to happen here MR. ! I tell you what is going to happen you are going back over to that club and you are sweeping up all that glass, you are disposing of it in a proper and safe way and I am remanding you to 15,000 hours of public service in cleaning the bathrooms in every strip club in Florida until you see how these girls get ridiculed everyday like patrons such as yourself! Judgment….DEFENDANT!
