Matthew 24:45-46
“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.”
It is sinful for us to ask God to prove Himself by a miracle or sign, though I guess we have all done it.
Jesus said, "A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign!
But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah."
I pray that God would find us faithful and unashamed of what we do in His name.
Have you ever done something like asked God to perform something supernatural to confirm in your heart that He is listening or that He is God?
Confess that as unbelief, and ask His forgiveness.
Ask Him to give you faith that loves Him just because He is worthy of your allegiance!
When I became a Christian, I made an initial decision because I figured that
if I lived my life as if there is a God and find out that there isn't, then what did I lose.
But, if I lived my life like there is NOT a God and find out that there is...WOW!
Shortly there after I started to see the transformation in my life
and the blessings attached to my obedience started to pour into my life,
and at this point I finally trusted and believed that HE IS GOD!
If you or others are not seeing a transformation in yourself,
and blessings are not pouring into your life, then I think I know what the problem MIGHT be.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
If the transformation has not taken place, maybe you are not "IN CHRIST" yet?
