Genniticly predispostioned to believe in god through evolution by natural selection? — Wednesday, November 15, 2006
Basicly, I think there are a lot of people who believe in god, more than not, due to the great many of people who didn't believe in god died, and didn't pass on their genes. Why did they die???? Crudsades, witchburning, And various other people who kill people who don't believe in god, or the god or gods they believe in. Because of crazy people who believed it was ok to kill people for not believing in god, those with strong opinions that didn't, and openly didn't subscribe the that system ended up dead.
So now, people who don't believe in god are the minoraty. The people who lived, are the one's who had the tendency to believe in god, and not people not willing to admit they didn't believe in god. People too scared to announce their beliefs, because if they did, they would had died because of them, and not reproduce. So the spineless, and the majoraty religion reproduced. Many of them being spineless as well, but it just so happend to help them out to declair their faith.
I hear people talking about how they aren't afraid to talk about how they believe in god. Good for them. But why be scared to do that? That's the "cool" thing to do now a days. When was the last time an atheist opened up fire in a church? Anyone hear any reports of christians being beat up or harrassed because they were christian recently? Good for you, you brave souls who post all those stupid bullitons about standing up for god, and jesus.
I know someone is going to bring up colombine in this. Those were the last people to have publicity for saying the believed in god and being killed that was widely publicized. It seems to me, that those people who were the shooters in colombine had obviously been harrassed for many years. Probably often by religious people. Because of that whole incedent, many people started talking about how we should have religion in our schools. I think religion in the school was partly a cause of the massacre. The people who seemed to die due to their belief in god, just happened to be victims of misplaced rage. The fuckers who had been harrassing those students, and those who supported it, should have been the one's shot, not those innocent people who died saying they believed in god..... Or um, something like that.
