Today has not been a particularly good day.
Actually, other than seeing my folks and my brother on Sunday, the last few days have been a royal pain in my ass.
Right now i'm just not a happy person. Just generally disgruntled with humanity, society and the cost of living...
Lately it's seemed that people are just bound and determined to trample all over my thoughts and treat my opinions like dirt.
Society is just...well...Frakked. Honestly, we're still occupying Iraq (a big thank you to the troops who are working so hard to do such a difficult job and be in the middle of controversy, and terrorists), and there's no respect for our fellow man inside the society. It's all about number one, hence...it's frakked.
Costs of living were too damn high to begin with, now we're paying nearly $4 for one stinking gallon of gas, food prices are going up and we were barely cutting it as it was....What's wrong with our society that it's so hell bent on destroying the middle class?
Seriously. i don't need to be the wealthiest person out there, but...i'd love to buy gas without wondering if i'm going to have money left over to buy groceries with...i'd also love to talk to somebody without feeling like they've completely ignored what i had to say, and i'd like somebody to admit that the middle class is rapidly disappearing...and DO something about it.
(sigh)
