I rub the lamp,
The gene did appear.
He ask me what my wish was,
I just stood there.
He nudged me and said,"I know you have a wish dear."
I looked up at him,
My eyes showing my experiences.
"I wish for a city of tranquility."
He reached down,
And with his reaching hand,
Presented a crystal city to me.
I looked at him,
My eyes fill with tears.
I know this city,
In which he is giving me.
A place surround by God's light.
Where his protect surrounds me,
Keeping me safe.
If you are wondering why I didn't wish for thee,
It is because I need a place that protects me.
Emotional hurt and pain,
Is not my cup of tea.
Less than honest with me,
Is not a friend to me.
Deceit and lies is not what friends are about.
Knowing where someone stands,
Then just not giving a fuck.
The crystal city is were I need to be.
Away from all the people out there,
That just want to hurt me.
