FUDGE PIE
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs, separated
2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped nuts
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and melted chocolate. Stir in flour and vanilla. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into a greased 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve topped with peppermint or vanilla ice cream.
Makes 8 servings.
