I am a part-time KJ (I run Karaoke shows).
at "club x", the owner of the establishment has screwed me on more than one business deal, and I make it a point not to frequent, promote, or recomend his place.
Being a karaoke participant, I have many friends that still go there, one of whom has told me that she is taking over the show at "club x". Directly after telling me this, she asked for my help.
I really would like to see this friend succeed in her new role.
On the other hand, I would be breaking my principles, in order to draw a crowd in for her (AND, consequently, the bar owner).
