I do not choose my friends based on their ethnic background. Nor do I choose them based on political, religious, or sexual preferences.
I do not care what color your skin is. I do not care what your political affiliations are. I do not care what religion you follow or don't follow. And I do not care if you are straight, gay, bi-sexual, transsexual, pan-sexual, asexual, nonsexual, or transgender. All of the above are personal choices and no one has the right to make those decisions about your life but you.
I choose my friends by their character, by their passion and zest for life. I choose people who have a heart. I choose people with a mind, who are not afraid to stand up and speak, even if it means they sometimes stand alone. I choose people with conviction. I choose people who have made many mistakes and LEARNED from them. I choose all those PERFECTLY IMPERFECT PEOPLE!
