My American friends. i shall be in America between 28th June & 20th July. Shall be landing in Houston & from there got three wonderful weeks to tour America hope to see most of you

ok get this :help:
late last week (weds/thurs) my 18mth old mircowave packed it & i notice as well my old fridge/freezer had broken seals & was leaking just a tad to much ! :crying: :crying:
so i thought right i'll have new in time for xmas, so pops off to Currys, & try to get a deal , ended up with free delivery on new "fridge/freezer" & removal old one, the mirco id had to take away, put lady said if ask driver am sure he'll take old mirco away!
so delivery arranged for 10am/1pm sunday
so 10am comes :yay: phone call driver cant find my farm , is only one on the lane:coma:
but gets here , & picks up old fridge & delivers new one , but says , cant take old mirco away as to small & could move about on lorry & bang or break other items,
leaves me with instruction on new fridge freezer, :angel: leave standing for between 3/4 hrs so can settle before plugging into , :angel: ok so like good boy i wait until way past 2pm to PLUG In my new fridge, :help: plug wont fit into socket :help: looks at plug & n/l pins bent into each other.:verymad:
phones depot & guess what dept for repairs/returns/exchanges aint open until monday & informed that as is molded on plug i cant cut flex & put old fashion, put on yourself plug..
so now ive no old working but little fraded fridge no store my fruit veg & goods in, but a non working brand new fridge freezer :verymad: :verymad: :verymad:

Today 30 Years on from Margaret Thatcher's "awe-inspiring" achievement .
The 83-year-old former Conservative leader is marking the 30th anniversary of her ascent to power during which the grocer's daughter from Grantham spent 11 years at Downing Street in one of the most monumental eras in british political history.
To her supporters she was the woman who restored the country to greatness, while her critics said that she sowed conflict, exacting a devastating price in human terms for her reforms.
Her own downfall was equally dramatic - ousted in a Tory Party palace coup. She left behind her a legacy that continues to permeate British politics to this day.In a letter to mark her election as Britain's first woman premier,
Mr Cameron said that the whole nation owed her "a huge debt of gratitude".
Mr Cameron said: "I still find it awe-inspiring to think of the state of the nation you inherited and the immense achievements of your governments.
"Getting the country to live within its means, bringing the trade unions within the law, rolling back the tide of state ownership, standing steadfast with our allies in the Cold War... but above all giving the British people back their pride and self-belief. The whole country owes you a huge debt."
He added: "It is with huge trepidation that I attempt, 30 years on, to get rid of an exhausted Labour Government and start the process of mending the national finances and tackling some deep and entrenched problems that we face.
