Seems everytime I do a theme blog
that includes any neon lights -
The first song that pops into my head
is Brooks & Dunes song, "Neon Moon"
Then I'll end up with another
song to opening my blog with.
I'm not sure if it's because I dont
want to give the impression that
I'm into country music or what?
Which I'm not ...
I do however enjoy a few songs
that happen to be of that genera ...
But that one reminds me of Vegas
and watching my Brother-in-laws
band cover that song flawlessly.
He's now retired from the music business
after 20 years of making music and getting
paid (very well, I might add) to do what he loved.
Although knowing and playing with a lot
of huge music stars ... and having success
(if you count making MONEY as such)
He was never famous!
Almost ...
(explanes other song selection)
But he did do very well for himself
Which had me thinking:
If you could chose any form of fame ...
What Would YOU Be
Would you want to be a
Rock Star
Sports Star
Movie Starmaybe even a polictical star?
I've done the up on stage thing,
and I cant say if I was talented enough
that I'd really want to do
that full time ...
Ugh, I couldn't stand
doing the same song
Over and over and over again ...
And that's just for practice -
Then you have to do it again
for people and its hard to be
enthused about doing a song
that quite frankly ... your sick of!
I think I'd chose a sports star
I'd already be retired, but ...
I enjoy sports fans & that energy
that a crowd of "Fanatics" gives off!

I tell you, I DONT want this to turn
into a rant ... Because I love making
my own daily greetings & it feels great
to hear feedback from you all ...
BUT . . .
This one was a total BITCH to make!
I know it dont look like much ...
But I had a hell of a time making it.
After trying to figure out a way to make
(by codes) it to do what I wanted it to . . .
all scrolling but the sides
then the cutains open up at the
bottom to reveal the "SHOW"
Well, due to lack of know-how ...
I compromised after several hours
of trying different things,
I found something -close-
to what I had envisioned.
lol - ONLY to find that I used WAY too
many characters ... to be able to post
the greeting on your page ...
Like men not knowing there's seriel
numbers if you completely unroll a condom ...
(because of never needing that much)
YOU might not know that there is only
so many characters (alotted word space)
which happens to be 2000 here at fubar.
Well after ALL NIGHT of finally getting it
Somewhere close to what I wanted ....
I couldn't even post the friggin thing!
*growls*
But - I redid it to a much less version
of what I had in mind ... and here it is!
