The price of freedom is happiness. What is it to claim to be free when you are not happy. Why is it that society teaches that we must strive to make others happy but yet we give up our freedoms to do so. If you have been rescued from a brutal cage to only have your wings cut to make those who love you happy then you are no better off then when you where in the cage. Live your life to make your self happy never attempt to change your way of thinking or the way you are to please any one. If someone can not accept you for the way you are then you should not accept them as a freind or even as family. True freinds and family would never hold you down or turn there backs on you they would support you through any choice you make.
