Forgiveness

When can really only get hurt,
By those we love.
And when we are hurt,
Forgiveness is the key.
We must learn to forgive.
Forgiving someone who has done you wrong,
Is one of the hardest things to do?
But if we leave these wounds,
Unattended to,
They will grow,
And become filled with hate,
But if we forgive,
They shall heal,
And become scars,
These scars on are heart,
Each tell a story,
They represent a battle strip of life,
Something that we have survived.
