The moment we first met,
My breath you stole,

I watched you move,
In the elegant way you do.
You looked at me,
Those blue eyes peered deep into my soul.
It was fate,
It was natural,
We connected,
It was meant to be.
But, then I awoke,
Are we together?
It's like I felt your breath,
The love, the sparks, were all still there.
It did not fade, much like dream memories do.
I think of you and fall in love all over again.
Never have felt this way before.
Others try to sweep me away,
But, I will fight to the end just to hear "I love you."
