Rise Above It All
Here's whats left of my broken heart,
All my dreams have fallen apart.
No reason to figure out whose to blame,
God Please! Help me to stay sane.
Someone said *You always hurt the one you love*,
I say that they dont know what loves really made of.
Love dosent consist of a broken nose or black eye,
There's no love in *You'd better listen to me or you'll die*
Love shouldnt give you nothing but pain and sorrow,
Love dosent make you question will I live to see tomorrow.
Love dosent come with a price you have to pay,
Neither does love beat you physically or mentally everyday.
We all know what love should or shouldnt be,
But after all this I think I'll try to learn to just love me.
One of these days I will Rise Above It All,
Noone will stop me I will stand tall.

My Broken Heart
So many times my broken heart cries out in pain,
To cry out louder makes no difference it always remains the same.
True love is only for a select few this I know,
And for this reason my tears still flow.
I love being a mom to my husband and kids as well,
But does it really matter this I cant tell.
I sit here daily lonely and sad beyond reason,
Please dont tell its because of the changin of the seasons.
I try to talk about how I feel inside these four walls,
But it doesnt matter how I feel noone bothers to call.
Maybe Im jealous maybe just mad as hell,
I hear you say your sorry but your actions say *Oh Well*
How many more years will it take for you to understand,
It takes more than you holding my hand.
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I were to die,
Would my broken heart continue to cry.
Would I be missed for me or the things I do for you,
Would you have a broken heart would yours cry to?
I wonder........
