A MOTHER'S HEART
Though the words aren't always spoken
and at times all is a mess
Lord knows where a young man's thoughts are
they're always wishing her the best
and whom am i speaking of
none other than his mother
for there truely is no other
who could steal away his heart
no matter how tall or far away he roams
always he knows where's best
none other than at home
at home with Mother dearest
so if a young man wanders
and leaves your house and home
it won't too long before

"hello Mother"
and absence they say
makes the heart fonder
there will always be that bond
a bond never to be broken
a bond forever to hold
in his Mother's hands mold
so smile while the bags are being packed
and he's getting ready to roam
he's only looking to find a place
he wants to call his own
soon Mom he'll be calling
and asking you to visit
how soon you'll come
and inspect it
for he knows you're worried about him
and he is also about you
while you two are apart
remember this young man's heart
