Ok, so I know I put a lil bit on my page about me so everyone will know a lil bit but I think it's time for a more in depth sight into me.
My name is Megan, but I really prefer to go by Storm or even Baby Storm. I am a truck driver & I live in Joplin, Missouri. I have been driving a truck for the last 5 years. Oh, if anyone has questions on what kind of truck, I drive an 18 wheeler. For the last 5 years I have been to 45 of the Continental 48 states, I'm still missing Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. I have also been to Canada. I have been so close to Mexico I could throw a rock into it, but I have not gone to Mexico. Driving a truck is fun, exhausting, and stressful, but I love the job. I guess you could say I have diesel running thru my veins. I thought that my love of driving a truck came from my 1st step father & my 2nd step father. I found out recently that I was wrong. My love for truck driving actually goes all the way back to 1935 as far as I was told anyway. It's in my family. It will always be in my family. I couldn't imagine another career for me. I've thought about other careers where I was home every night, but I wouldn't be happy. Ok, let's continue.
I have 2 very beautiful daughters. There are pictures of them on my profile here. They are Elizabeth, who is 10 and LeAnne, who is 9. They live in Tennessee with their father. That is the reason I can drive a truck. The reason their father has them is because I was too young to know what I was doing with raising them, (I had Elizabeth when I was 15 and LeAnne when I was 17). They are better off being with them, but I love them and miss them very much.
Like I said, I live in Joplin, Missouri. I didn't always live here. I was born in Reno, Nevada. WOOHOO! Biggest Little City In The World! LOL I have lived in too many places in my young life tho. I'm 26 yrs old & these are all the places I have lived>>Reno & Silver Springs, Nevada...Chilcoot, California...Erin, McKinnon, Vanleer, & Clarksville, Tennessee...Harper, Texas...Kingman, Arizona...Lincoln, Ragland, & Pell City, Alabama...Cheyenne, Wyoming...Tacoma, Washington...Kissimmee & Okeechobee, Florida...Joplin, Missouri...Dierks, Arkansas...& then back to Joplin, Missouri. No, I haven't lived in all these places because I was a military brat. I guess we can go with my mom's thought. I have a gypsy soul & I haven't found where I'm really home. Well, I think I have finally found home. I have lived here in Joplin on and off since August of 2005. In June, 2007, I started renting a single wide trailer here and I don't plan on leaving.
I have been married once. I've come close a few times since then, but I didn't follow through with it. I'll be the first to admit I have a HUGE fear of commitment. I guess I'm afraid that if someone gets me to commit, then my free will is gone & I feel I will lose the spirit that I have. Maybe some day I will get over that so I can be happy with someone, but right now, it's not happening.
Some of the things I like to do are play on the computer, read books, listen to music, swimming, playing pool (billards), playing video games, learning about history, traveling (obviously), driving a truck, hanging out & having a good time with friends (whether online or in person), camping, fishing, hiking, & most of all, enjoying life.
Some T.V. Shows I like, Gilmore Girls (I have Seasons 1-7 & hoping they will come out with Season 8 or a movie), CSI:Miami, & Charmed. I am guilty of watching the Disney Channel.
Types of Movies I like, pretty much anything that isn't totally stupid.
My fave movies: Pirates of the Caribbean (ALL OF THEM), The Bourne Trilogy, Die Hard Quadrology, Alien Quadrology, AVP (can't wait to see AVP-R), Harry Potter (ALL), & almost any John Wayne.
Music:ALL (except Gospel & Christian)
Books:Mostly Anne Rice, Stephen King, Clive Cussler, Diana Gabaldon, and J.K. Rowlings.
Ok, guess that's about all I can think of about me, right now at least. If there is anything else, I will put another blog in here for y'all to read.
