I'm trying to be the friend you want
But it hurts me inside
When I look into your eyes
Because what I want
Is something more
You told me once
If I needed anything
Let you know......
But what I wanted
You can not give me
Because your heart
Belongs to someone else
So I sit and think
And think some more
But what do I do
With my heart that always breaks
So I sit and wait
Thinking of my fate
Hoping to find love
I want someone to hold me
Threw those long and stormy nights
To hold me, when I'm scared
Someone to pick me up
When the world brings me down
So when will my heart stop breaking
