Follow the above link and see how much we waste and receive absolutely nothing from it. I have calculated that of the nine studies thus far, $17.5 trillion could be slashed out of the annual budget. Of course it would be painful, however, take the savings and apply it to the $14 trillion debt, we would have a surplus of $3.5 trillion realized in the first year. Interesting? Imagine, just one more year at the current tax rate. The following year we could be at 1% of income earned. Imagine the new jobs and personal spending that would occur. Life would be great!
