I saw a news story today about a woman who smothered her baby with a blanket.  Why?  What in the hell was she thinking?  She was frustrated.  That's it.  She was frustrated!  What kind of lame ass excuse is that?!?  The same thing happened several years ago in Houston, Texas.  A mother drowned her three children in the bath tub.  Just before she killed them she telephoned her husband.  She was frustrated too. 

Parenting is hard.  Everybody knows that.  Those that don't have serious issues.  But what do I know...  I'm just a guy.  I can't know what it's like being pregnant or raising a child.  Men don't change diapers, warm bottles, or play Peek-A-Boo.  I got a surprise for ya...  I was a live in nanny for 4 years.  I was with the family through the pregnancy and beyond.  Their first child passed away due to SIDS.  I stayed on for their second child.  They were my friends.  I was also a children's entertainer for 15 years.  So I know a little about children.

Kids are tough to figure out.  Especially if they can't talk yet.  Their shit stinks worse than anything else in the world.  Breast feeding makes you sore.  Late night feedings are the worst.  Is this your life now?  No more parties, drinking, and scandalous behavior.  Fun is still out there.  You just have to tone it down.  Walks in the park are fun.  Chuck E Cheese is still my favorite hangout. 

Back on topic...  Children are difficult, but that is no reason to punish them.  They're children.  They don't know any better.  They're children.  They cry, they poop, they eat.  Get over it.  Get over yourself.  Just because you control every thing in your child's life does not give you the right to chose the life  or death of that child.  I understand your frustration.  As a nanny, I've had similar frustrations.  I dealt with the death of a 4 month old baby.  I'm not better than any mother, but I can relate.

If you have problems, talk to your family.  They may not seem willing to help, but they will.  They're family.  You have friends too.  Friends are the best.  They know best what you're going through.  But, if you have no other choice but to harm you're child, DON'T.  Message me.  You can talk to me.  I'm a good listener.  Don't do anything until you talk to someone-anyone.
