I am a member of a supporters' group at our local football club - that's real football with a round ball!! It's a semi-pro club with about 850 regular fans and there are three different supporters' groups all with different aims. I am also the chairman of a steering committee designed to bring the three groups together.
The big problem is that the personalities of the group leaders are taking over from the aims, and there is non-stop bickering amongst them. As the chair of the steering committee, I hear all the complaints, whingeing and plotting going on between them. So my question is: should I start telling each what the others are saying and plotting, or should I just sit back and watch them fight? |
