So, my apartment management won't replace a battery in my smoke alarm. It is on its 6th week of chirping, I think, because I certainly can't reach it to replace it (although, "it is the tenant's responsibility to replace the smoke alarm battery").
They will change the light bulbs, but not the smoke alarm? What is wrong with that picture???? I need one of my tall friends to get to it...up on a 9 foot ceiling.
Today, though, the fire folks blast what sounded like a foghorn throughout the entire building. Could have woken up the dead from the cemetery down the road from me with their blasts!!!
I jumped up from my bed trying to see what in the world was going on and my cats were running around in circles. LOL.... I am not sure what jumped up faster... my heart or my body!!
Hopefully no more blasts to scare us!
Too bad that they didn't stop the chirping, too!!
