As my profile states I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We are currently experiencing an all time record flood. The Cedar River runs right the center of town and divides the East and West ends of town. Flood stage for the river is 18 feet. The highest flood on record was 20 feet in 1929, currently the river is at 20.23 feet and is predicted to crest at 24.5 feet. We are also waiting for thunderstorms tonight and all day tomorrow that are expected to bring an additional 1-3 inches of rain. I have created a photo album named Flood 2008 I have uploaded pics from today and will continue to upload more pictures of this historic flood.
