Complaints about religious content have led to a ban on flag-folding recitations by Veterans Administration employees and volunteers at all national cemeteries.
At thousands of military burials, VA volunteers have folded the American flag 13 times and recited the significance of each fold to survivors. The 11th fold glorifies "the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” The 12th glorifies "God the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost."
Citing a need for uniformity, the National Cemetery Administration has prohibited unpaid VA volunteers as well as employees from conducting the recital at all 125 national cemeteries.
American Legion attorney Rees Lloyd calls it "another attempt by secularist fanatics to cleanse any reference to God."
Following one complaint, the Veterans Administration has made anti-Christian bigotry the law of the land. The U.S. government has bowed to pressure from one radical anti-Christian secularist. Allowed to stand, the action by the Veterans Administration, in essence, means that anti-Christian bigotry is now the accepted and approved law of the land.
I find this OUTRAGEOUS.

IF one's family would prefer the Honor Guard NOT to recite the words, how about they just let them know? Why is a BAN NECESSARY??
Why is it that a SMALL group always seem so bent on dictating WHAT I DO on the premise of THEIR RIGHTS? Don't I TOO have a right to have an Honor Guard invoke the Name of GOD? If an atheist wishes to NOT have GOD in his life, do I IMPOSE it upon them? NO.
If a Wiccan wishes to have a display in public, or incant a prayer, do I cry? NO.
I am certainly not a member of an alternate lifestyle, yet they have parades for just about any group imaginable. Some of these activities I fund insulting, but are they allowed? Certainly and with good cause, because we are a Country that ALLOWS FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION.
Why then, is a white, Christian MALE so restricted?
I KNOW this may sound racial prejudiced, biased or narrow minded, but the argument STILL IS VALID and, to MY KNOWLEDGE, NEVER been answered....

Race a HOT issue?? OK, how about if I had a Miss God-lover USA contest? Who's mission was for Women of The followers of GOD The Father? Wanna take a stab at how many people would moan about my excluding others? How many ATHEISTS do you think would sue to stop it? How many 'non-believers' in My Faith would sue to enter, in spite of the fact that it is clearly mission oriented towards GOD followers?
Gonna tell me I'm off target and no one would care? Read up on the Boy Scouts then. It's an organization that's taken a bunch or heat over the past few years. MAJOR NAMES, like Steven Spielberg have come out against this organization. This group, no matter how 'narrow minded' YOU may believe them to be, has done great things for a great many men. But now they are, in some circles, like joining the "Hitler Youth. WHY? Well because they preach about GOD !!!! And as a group, don't think Homosexuality is a family value. Are they right? I dunno, BUT I DO KNOW that they HAVE a RIGHT to believe what they want. It's in their mission statement, same as Miss Black America. If you are a card carrying KKK member, I don't suspect you would enter Miss Black America to 'make a point'. I'm SURE that you wouldn't enter it and then have an epiphany that you ain't a member of The African American community and sue. Why then do people join the Scouts and then sue? Why doesn't Steven Spielberg accept the fact that this Organization does not share his views and move on?
Why must one or two people, who have something against my worship methods, accept the fact that I ain't all that enthralled with their ideas either, but I don't go around suing people to stop worshiping "Mother Nature", rejecting the New Testament and being Jewish, opting not to believe in a Supreme Being or even worshiping my 'anti-hero'; Satan.
YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO and please let ME live in my freedom and do what I want to do, within the parameters that what I DO, don't "do" no one else harm.
