Right now here outside my office the rain is coming down hard n heavy. Honestly we need this rain very badly, been stuck in a draught this year. It might be too late to help the farmers, but rain like this is still a blessing. Its coming from a tropical storm off the coast of panama city, bout 140 miles away. This is the first rain from a tropical storm or hurricane since 2005, the hurricane right after katrina.There is something else too bout a nice steady downpour, the sound it makes on my steel roof here, its very relaxing. Always liked the sound of rain on a steel roof.
Its just a goodnite to stay in and not be on the roads, thiere gonna be too damn slippery. N it being a friday the drunks will be out too.
