I have a CRUSH on men in uniform..fighting for freedom in the world....or fighting fire..or fighting to save lives...I have a crush on men who get up off the couch..and help others...to "save the world"...in some way.
My real life crush... A special someone that I met here on Fubar (way back when it was Lost Cherry!) while he was in Iraq...we got married and he went back to Iraq...He got home AGAIN the day before Thanksgiving 2008. Yes, we were "Thankful" and surprised his whole family.
Having fun getting all the Firefighters/EMS/Police/Soldiers together on one page...but a little about me...
I am a Real Estate agent by trade..and have my own art studio also..my own boss kind of thing which frees me up to be on the local fire department. I love that part of my life...most of my pictures here depict that...because...a picture of me just sitting on the couch doing nothing or a cam shot..here is the left side of my face..here is the right...isn't very interesting...LOL. Makes for a more exciting page to put the fire pictures up. Thanks for your kind comments and support.
I guess I'm little bit nuts...I have bunge jumped and I go into burning buildings. What does that tell you? But I paint my fingernails ( toenails too) and I am an "all American" girl. I volunteer to get dirty and get the job done, I think I am pretty brave "for a girl"...LOL! I am fit and healthy.
I run. I clean up OK. Actually, I've been told that I "clean up pretty damn good and my chief says that I'm a "pretty smart cookie"... I love him to death!
Mostly I guess, I am, compassionate, caring and fun..with a sick sense of humor. Gotta get through it somehow and it usually comes out as a "gross" joke at the dinner table! LOL
It seems as though I am one of the "old ladies" on this site...and the women are just gorgeous...but when it comes to "hot stuff"...I won't be showing much skin on the net. I won't be flashing my naked rear. Don't get me wrong..I am not a total "prude"...I'm just not into flashing T&A for the general public to see. I save that for a special man in my life.
But, I know what REALLY hot is...take this challenge... see who goes into the burning building girls, then you will see my backside...I'll be the one in front...enjoy the view.
IF YOU READ THIS FAR...YOU COULD BE ON YOUR WAY TO BEING CONSIDERED A FRIEND. IF NOT...YOU WON'T KNOW THAT ALL BLANK FRIEND REQUESTS WILL BE REJECTED. I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT POINTS. BUT I DO CARE ABOUT MY FRIENDS..AND PICKING GOOD ONES IS IMPORTANT.
And whether you like it or not..it IS my choice whether I accept you into my life or not...get over it...If you truly want "friendship" talk to me...give me a reason to consider you a friend...and not just another "add".

Don't do video games..or watch TV..but enjoy getting cozy with a fire in my woodstove..a blankie..a good glass of wine and a movie that I either bought or rented.
My interest include anything to do with learning and doing..firefighting, fire investigation, water rescue, and being on the medical quick response team...I enjoy getting "dirty"..working hard..it is sooo rewarding to actually save someones home..or life...wow. It is unexplainable. I went to Biloxi, Mississippi for one month to drive emergency response vehicles and to deliver food and water to the victims of Katrina. That experience changed me forever...whenever I feel down..or sorry for myself...I remember those people..who lost family members and everything they own too...Death and destruction..everywhere... I think to myself, woman, compared to that,your life is beautiful...you have it really, really good...quit freakin' whining you loser, whiney ass, baby!
I just finished riding out both Hurricanes Gustov and Ike in August '08 to do what I could to help in the aftermath...They were just as devastating in many ways in different areas. It really makes me appreciate the things I have and the people in my life.
And to our men and women in the military...especially those serving away from home...My job gets tough sometimes..but I get to go back home when I'm done..and crawl into my bathtub...drink a glass of wine and relax...again THANK YOU! When I hear people whining about stupid stuff...It just irks the hell out of me!!!
