                                    "The Past"                            

     They say the past repeats itself,

mere words or a saying to live by?

     For if the past does repeat itself,

Should I try to correct it all, or just die?

     For if my past repeats itself,

I'd rather lose myself than another family, 

     The past blurs my vision

I'm trapped with indecision.

     Clouded is my future alas'

I'm sinking , drowning in my past.

     Can you change it? Can i change it?

Maybe not totally , but maybe rearrange it,

or distort it, to feel less pain.

     Maybe shift directions so there's no blame

 There's no changing the past for sure,

but maybe there's a way to change the future.

     For if its really true what they say,

I'd rather die than have my past be repeated anyday.

     So before my past resurrects itself

I'd rather die than go through torturous hell.

     Free me, cure me, save me of my past.

There's no telling how long I'm gonna last.

     So forgive me and my soul, I dont mean to do wrong.

     If my future's to be my past, i do not belong.

So hold me , comfort me, and strengthen me.

     Believe in me, love me, and stay with me.

     Dont let my past come to get me

Dont let the past be the last......
