recent past haunting you,
poisoning what you started,under false pretence,
wearing the mask.
Oblivious to your emotional desperation piercing my heart.
This is my voice you hear, but the past
in your heart when it skips a beat.
False gentlemenly persona created from the dispare you reside in,
determined to get out.
Unconcerned obsession of recent memories,
desperate for the future, wandering aimlessly uncaring,
playing the game you think will fill the emptiness,
You do not need me to fill the black hole
you need time.
