Urine Test

This was sent to me by a friend, so I can't take credit, but definately thought it was worth passing on.

Maybe some politicians will see it and it will get them thinking about how we'd really like to start having our money spent instead of thinking about their own pay raises.

Like a lot of folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as they see fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test, which I have no problem with. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sit on their ass. Could you imagine how much money this country would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Why we take them at times?

Just wondering at times why we take the chances that we do. Guess it's just part of live and learn!!!

Let someone know that I was interested, hoping the feeling might be the same, but than found out it wasn't.

Sometimes I feel like the wrong guy, in the wrong place at the wrong time.

But at least I still have her friendship, and I am definately thankful for that.

So once again I have lived and learned from another experience, maybe I should have asked sooner, maybe it really wouldn't have mattered. Just one of those things that you never know about.

Expect the worst, but hope for the best. But I know that one day I'll take the same chance again, because if you never do than you will never know what could have been.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, so if there's someone out there that your debating about taking that chance with, take it, weather you win or lose, or you'll never know if you don't try.
