This boy is living outside in a cage in this heat, and the people do NOT want him. If any rescue or person can help him, please let me know or email the email address below. Cosmo is a gorgeous Lab/Staffie mix with beautiful golden eyes. Approx. 2 years old.
This boy has lots of potential, if just given half a chance.

Please pass on to anyone that might open their heart to him and take him out of this bad situation he is in. This boy will blend in at a shelter, and because of his breed mix his chances will not be plenty. Please give this boy the opportunity he deserves.

This is Cosmo and he is looking for a new home where he can be spoiled and loved. He is currently living in a cage outside, and its way too hot for him out there now. He loves to be with people, and is so happy when he gets to run around and play ball with kids. He has alot of energy, and really needs to be in a home where he can run, and be the goofy dog he is, freely. He would do best in a home with no other dogs, so this way he can be the center of attention.

A New Threat to Wolves

The Bush/Cheney Administration announced a proposal that would sanction the killing of more than 700 wolves in the Greater Yellowstone area, including wolves protecting their pups on National Forest lands and Wilderness areas! Under this proposal, these and other wolves could be killed, even if gray wolves in the Northern Rockies remain protected under the Endangered Species Act.

If this proposal is successful, it will set the stage for aerial gunning of wolves in Wyoming and Idaho and clear the way for the extermination of three out of four wolves in the Lolo area of Idaho�s Clearwater National Forest.

And, if that's not enough, just last month, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reversed its long term opposition to Wyoming�s wolf management plan, clearing the way for a state policy that allows wolves to be shot on sight in most of the state if they wander outside the safety of Yellowstone or Grand Tetons National Parks and nearby areas.

Once again, federal officials are bending over backwards to allow the killing of still-endangered gray wolves. And, once again, Defenders needs your help to stop them.

Tn Kitten killed by fireworks put in it's mouth - PLEASE ACT! Authorities investigating case of kitten killed by fireworks Hawkins County investigators are interviewing three men in the death of a kitten killed by fireworks on Sunday. Dana Campbell said she adopted three kittens that had been dumped near her rural home several weeks ago. On Sunday she and her husband went boating and on their return home, saw three men sitting near a shed where the kittens stayed. Later she heard the men shooting off fireworks. One of the kittens was found dead, covered in fire extinguisher dust and with fireworks in his mouth. Sheriff Roger Christian said detectives are interviewing three persons of interest, one of them a juvenile.
