What are you waiting for?

If you've seen Ocean's 11 and 12. Then you will have seen part 3. Okay, the second one was a bit convoluted even the most fervent of Ocean's fans. Part 3 equals the fun of the original, with each team member doing something a bit more useful toward the ultimate goal - in this case ripping off Al Pacino's new casino/hotel and giving the money to charity while gaining revenge for a fallen friend. Clooney, Damon, Pitt...um, are, well, Clooney, Damon, Pitt in Ocean's style. Pacino does a good turn as an arrogant villain as does Ellen Barkin as his meek assistant. If you follow celeb gossip (which I try not to), you will get some subtle in jokes between Pitt and Clooney. Those guys are obviously having fun on screen and that's part of the magic about these movies. Nice turn from Eddie Izzard. Man, he would've made a kick-ass villain in "24" if he had not have gotten the FX gig "The Riches." And who knew good ol' "Super" Dave Osborne could act!? Okay, it wasn't really "acting" but he was still humorous if not out of his element - you know, sans his Super Dave motif. I miss that show. But I'm hoping this is the last Ocean's flick. What/who else could they rip off? The Vatican? The new American regime in Iraq (oh, don't criticize me for that, you know it's true)? You guys go out on a solid note. Leave it at that. Woohoo, I've been really catching up on cinematic pleasures lately. I tend to hit the theaters alone for the most part because most of my compardres aren't available (matinees, hint!) and/or don't really care for my film preferences. But oh well. I'm always welcome to drag any of you along to the cineplex (or vice versa). Let's just get a decent seat and hope to God we don't suffer through thousands of lame previews before the main event.
