Solid hands
Grasping the nothingness,
The air of darkness
For something to stop the rest of the body
From falling any deeper.
Trying to find a reason to hold onto.
No reason
Surfaces.
She’s fallen too far,
No one can help her now.
They stand there
At the rim of her existence
Watching her fall.
No arms outstretched,
No one caring.
Not one ear heard the final,
Fatal crash.
No one looked for her body.
No one knew she was gone.
They knew what she had done,
They knew how she had done it,
They just didn’t care.
