An angel has fallen
from the sun's lambent light.
She's alone
Her eye's
lacquered with broken smiles.
Her face
reflecting anguished colour.
Unable to fly
she's entwined
within a web of pain.
She bleeds her cries
as I untangle
her netted vine.
I unpick
her tattered and torn wings.
Tenderly
I weave
hope and strength
erasing smirched pain.
I paint
her soul
with emblazon dreams,
inscribed
with hope's braids.
A face
now alive,
Her eye's
emitting
breathes of life.
Her wings flutter
a luminous rainbow.
She whispers a kiss
as she follows
the sun's lambent light.
