As i fell from grace i thought. "What about happiness" A respons came . "I never promised happiness only freewill". So happiness is not part of the deal?! How could this be? As i live i see humans spend all their lives looking for happiness. They touch it but never own it. The only thing humans own is the Struggle. They struggle to hold onto life,love,faith. They struggle to hold on to everything. It is the only common donmiator. The Struggle, It's the fire that forges the soul. Steel into flame, is exactly what free will is about. Souls go in and are reshaped, some made better and some are destroyed. I spend the rest of my days in the struggle of freewill and find it comforting. It takes my mind off that happiness was never part of the deal. I long for the day that i return home and wonder who i will be when i finally arrive.
