Real nice of him, isn't it? My apartment was being shampooed yesterday, and my cat was a no-no in there while it's going on. I brought the cat over to him for only four hours so we can get out of the pro's way, and I could go and meet the manager of a painting company... I'm pushing the employment thing. Dressed nice in black slacks, brown spandex dress shirt, black leather boots. Hair and face made up. Just as I was about to leave, that ex-asshole text-screams at me on the cell saying my cat attacked him and I gotta go over there and get the cat back RIGHT NOW. I tell him "I already told you that the carpet's being cleaned, and I have a little job interview this morning!" His reply? "I don't give a SHIT! I'll dump the cat at the pound and tell them it's a dangerous animal and have it put down!" I sigh. I drive over there, look at the cat. He's purring and rubbing his head on my legs. Hmmm... vicious, is he? I pick him up, put him in the car, and the ex-asshole argues with me about needing to go to the ER for rabies shot. *groan* I tell him "He's already had all his shots, including the rabies! You did something to piss him off!" He says "No, I was the perfect pet sitter!" Perfect, my arse! Why does he think he's my EX?! I get in the car, check the time, and there it is... ten minutes past my interview appointment. He's a fucking asshole for making me screw up on my job interview! Great... that was probably the ONLY company in the entire town and within 30 miles of here that DOESN'T give out these stupid 'ethics' tests and credit checks! Anybody needing a person to work for them, MESSAGE ME!!!! I'm going NUTS without a job!

What the hell is going on with the friggin' employment around here? I go around and apply for jobs, but then there's the credit check that companies/businesses want to do before hiring me. What is that, a new fetish?! Being a divorcee does kill your credit, and suddenly they think I'm the one who killed it? And what is up with those stupid ethics and morality tests they make you take? Take this question for example... "You have stolen in the past, and you will not do it again." Yes or no. You answer yes, meaning you have stolen and therefore your ethics and morality WAS in the toilet and is currently questionable. You answer no, meaning you have not stolen in the past but will do it. An entire sheet of questions are EXACTLY like that! You lose either way!!! Do not apply at Wal-Mart. They give out those questionnaires like candy! Do not apply at Dollar stores or the likes.. they do credit checks like an addict on crack! And you gotta have a degree in college to answer phones, type a few words, and teach children (even though you've taught yours for YEARS)!!! They even require certifications just so you can scrub their toilets! If you're smart, you "overqualify" and therefore must not be hired. You're stupid, you do not "meet their expectations" and therefore must not be hired. What, do we all have to be an average Joe? I got four children, two of which are way too young to be in school. What the heck am I supposed to do? Sure, there's Avon, but what about a stable paycheck? Oh, no... a stay at home mother with a sparse job history is as bad as a hole in their pockets, and is probably stupid because she didn't hold down her jobs. What the hell?! All I'm asking is a friggin' four hour a day job! I'd be EUPHORIC if I could just stand for four hours straight, monotonously putting food into bags after bags! I tried work at home stuff, but nope. Most of 'em were scams, and the rest required investments of which I don't have. Screw 'em. Anybody here got ideas, offers, etc, I'll take 'em so give me a shout!
