Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. Where I lived the major of my puerile life, was once ripe with Italian immigrants wirh warm embraces, they'd always say hi, conventionally in their native tongue, though upon realizing you can't understand them, they could verbalize English.
Haplessly, that town, once graced with beautiful Italian culture and decency has been systematically superseded with drug dealers, gang members and people disinclined to avail anybody but themselves. Bar fights and shoot outs now commonplace, at least it was by the time I left, of course that was 14 years ago. Driving through now like I have been, I can't bring myself to venture out of my conveyance, as I loathe those people and in fact, I loathed the person I was at 16. I do not desire to be notice by the people I once kenned, I don't desire to associate with those type of people ever again.
I moved to California in 2015, I was consummately circumvented by people who was thoroughly oblivious to me. And for 7 years, I was blissful. Got my music a little exposure. I came back, remotely begrudgingly, but concurrently, I was solicitous to see my parents and siblings again.
That's as much as I'm inclined to discuss about myself. I lament Ellwood City, the way it was. I hope that it has calmed, and transformed into something for the better again.
I dedicate this blog and future musical compositions to Tony, an elderly benevolent Italian gentlemen we befriend. He's long since gone. I withal give thanks to Joe and Marsha, I'll inscribe about those people at a later date.
