Those two questions are the whole of what I want to know... I really don't need to say anything else.
What is justification? What justifies what we view as right? And, how can we view ourselves as anything other than sheep if unwaveringly follow others without question?
The sky is pink and the grass is black.
Well, it is. isn't it? .... What if you had been raised to believe that. You're whole life taught these two things were true? If someone came to you and said... "no, the sky is blue and the grass is green" you would just laugh at them... You would tell them they were wrong.
Well, that is what we (human kind) have become. We have been raised and bread to believe that the path we are on is the only path that we can follow. We have been taught that the grass is green, but what we have failed to realize is... what is green? And what is black for that matter? what is any of it. It's nothing but mindless banter. Language itself is a restrictive method of relaying the human heart but we can't relate what we want because we are bound. We are bound by many things: government, religion, social status, race, and ethics, just to name a few. These are all things that we can not destroy. Man has, for all of time, been constantly building and attempting to destroy each of these things with the other. These things which we all hold important to ourselves seek to destroy one another, and thus we seek to destroy one another. Religion seeking to rule over government while social status dictates over religion and government alike and race and ethics both being twisted against each other. "Who is more morally fit or favored by 'god'?" I use the term "god" loosely. Have it mean what ever you like. That doesn't matter to me. What does matter is that no one can tell me what any of the things we fight for are really worth. Even if you say your fight is for something "pure" like love or liberty... the means do not justify the ends and never will. It's an oxymoron. Fighting for peace? that's impossible. Fighting for anything other than the shear sake of fighting is impossible. .... okay, I've gone off on a tangent. I well regress now. There is no point to all this. I am mostly just venting, but I'd love feed back, so let me know what you have to say. That is, if you have anything relevant to say.
