Some years ago I spent several months paralyzed with Guillian-Barre Syndrome. It was horrible, worse than divorce. Google it.
One of the things that bothered me most was when visitors showed up drunk. One actually smuggled in a sprite bottle full of vodka for me.
Some folks really care.
