Draconic Souls
Upon dragon's wings,
across clear blue skies.
Sting of the wind,
pulls the tears from my eyes.
I think of a handsome man,
with soft and gentle hands.
He's so very far away,
although he's close at hand.
I fly through the Akashic rhelm,
to find secrets of the past.
To find and set my goals,
always wondering within myself what I should really ask.
The essence of his aura,
fills my cup to overflowing.
Always prescient,
forever in the knowing.
Swirls of the past fly by,
shifts and cracks in Time.
Love has no reason,
It is just sublime.
Reaching forward,
I grab a door.
The dragon and me,
we light on the shore.
Reflections in the water,
of a life that I once knew.
The dragon reached forth,
to me he drew.
Wrapping his black wings about me,
holding me close to his chest.
"I have been waiting for you all my life,
I have found you, now I can rest."
With taloned claw,
he gently lifted my chin.
" You have been my love,
since the dawn of man.
Split aparts forever drawn,
to the wholeness of our core.
Etherial , surreal,
gentle and sure.
I look in the water,
and what do I see?
The beautiful dragon,
that I have come to be.
"Briesef,
of the Lotus City I be.
I shall be by your side,
throughout eternity."
Opalescent scales of white,
with silvered purple hues.
"From the dawn of time,
I have remembered you.
I have remembered you,
through countless ages.
In stories that have been told,
by countless sages.
Through intricately woven,
delicate strands of fate.
I have searched for you,
Even though it could be too late.
I have crossed oceans,
of time to see.
Realization that our love,
stretches out into untold infinity."
