Don’t Forget
One more day has passed
People still disrespect
Don’t they remember what
We stand for?
Have they forgotten
The people who died
For us?
They sit through the
Pledge. They wear
Their hats during
The National Anthem
Don’t they understand?
We fear another
Attack, but we
Live on. We stopped
Business and we stopped
Learning a couple of days
For that tragic moment in
U.S. History.
Have people forgotten 9/11?
We go to games and concerts
And we pray that it won’t
Happen again!
We remember that tragic day!
