Exactly how you feel
Maybe it's because we know
That what we feel is real
And maybe we're afraid
They won't feel the same
So we say nothing
So we have no one to blame
Afraid to show our feelings
Afraid to show our heart
Knowing we could be hurt
Even before we start
But somehow the other person
Always seems to know
Because we send a message
That let's our fellings show
It may just be a smile
Or a gentle touch of the hand
But there's always a signal
To let someone know where you stand
Now I don't exactly know
Where it started with you
But I do know that when I see you
My feelings start anew
Absence makes the heart grow fonder
I've heard people say
Well if it's true
My heart grows fonder every day
But if the end should ever come
And we turn and walk away
Never dwell on what you lost
But look at what we had each day
Too many times people
Judge everything by loss
They do not see the whole picture
They only see what they've lost
