Wolfgang was hurt and in terrible pain. We don't know exactly what happened to him but it looks like someone poured acid on his face. His owners took him to the Santa Barbara Animal Shelter at night and stuffed their dog into the overnight box.We have him now because of the tireless efforts of one of the volunteers who couldn't sleep worrying about this special dog.We have him now at a veterinary hospital getting care. As you all know veterinary care is expensive. We are getting discouraged, we are out of money and the needy dogs keep coming. We love them so much we just don't know how we can help them anymore with so little support.Our credit card bills are mounting.We have the volunteers and we know which vets to use and how to get the best discount but we can't continue unless we get more help. We keep saying there has to be other people out there that care if they only knew. Please don't make us turn our backs on these desperate dogs!
