Coach is in the front yelling but you cant hear him...You are to busy sittn there with your head between your knees. Thinking of all the mistakes you have made and of all the shots you should have took but didn't, plays you could have made but let pass you by. How you should have listen to your coaches instruction more in practice. Now maybe you have never played any sports or ever experienced a locker room. But im talking about life which is just like a sport in which we have all did things we wish we hadnt , there were shots in life we wanted to take but were to fearful to try. We have played our first half so badly but know we have so much more inside of us.So here we sit at halftime no matter your age young or old. With the chance to go out and play the best 2nd half we ever have.You might think oh but ive made so many mistakes or went down one to many wrong roads i just dont see a way out or a chance for a better life..Well im here to tell ya there is one who can turn it all around , his name is Jesus ! He died for you bc he knew all the mistakes you would make and wrong choices or circumstances that maybe you would have no control over. Anyone who knows me knows i have lived both sides of the game, i partied better than rockstars , i got crazy and ended up in some really bad places and ruff things to go thru.I suffered the death of my mother. I was also a goodie goodie and in some really good places as well. i have searched thru it all and yet i always return to the truth aka God. He is the only one who will ever fullfill that longing and empty place we all try and fill with whateva it maybe(money,drugs,sex,partyn'work,careers,family)you name it =" wont satisfy".Only the one who made us will, why bc he made that void there in your soul to always bring you back to him because all he longs for is a relationship with you.But im here to tell you its all up to us and we are given the gift of free will and we have the choice to be pitful or powerful. So i dont know about you but i plan on goin out and havin the best 2nd half you ever seen. To leave a legacy of impact, intergrity and love...As my head rises and my confidence is no longer in myself but in the one who made me...Slowly the coach's words begin to penetrate my ears...I believe in you and know you can go out and play and live the way i intended for you too when i first choose you for this team....So now its up to you!

Do you sometimes find yourself feeling like you are not being your true self.? Do u lack fulfillment and joy sometimes bc you feel something is missing?...Well there is.... its you! I think we all get so caught up in trying to become something or someone we are not that eventually we lose site of who we really are..Although at first this might seem selfish or uncaring. i believe its the exact opposite and bc we spend so much of our time trying to please all those that are in are lives we end up not making the impact God intended for us to have .
For some you feel called to try and fix or help everyone close to you, but last time i checked that isn't your job its God and only God can truly change people and lives. Although it is noble and of good heart i think it throws you out of balance. Its not healthy and instead of becoming the best you "you" can be you try and make someone else the best them you think they should be. You lose focus on what really matters and you become unhappy . Which in turn affects all those around you more bc now they gotta deal with their problems and you being unhappy and out of wack... So simply put get over yourself! You weren't designed to fix the world. Yes be kind, yes be a true friend but not at the cost of making yourself unhappy. Wouldn't it feel so much better to just be yourself and have those people in your lives just accept you for who you are and not feel like you have to put on some show or hide what you are truly passionate about...Lets not forget the pressure to make this amount of money or hang out with this crowd to be cool .Or solve this person's problems or carry the load for that person.
Let's not forget the other obstacle to becoming your true self= "Haters"...You will always have critics and people who for no reason at all will not like you and say bad things about you..Pay them no mind keep on being you and growing as a person, don't sink to their level and get involved in their drama.Think for to long and you come to realize people that have the most critics and haters are usually the most successful and people for some reason don't like to see others achieve --brings out jealousy or what have you..So be glad when people are talking bad about you if you know and feel you are doing your best ..Means you are on the right track...When i sit and think of the people i admire most its the ones that are truest to themselves and their beliefs.....I want more haters in my life! Means I'm important enough to be on their minds and lips... Life is so short stop spending your time so concerned with what all your critics have to say about you. As long as you are doing the best you feel you can do , just let the rest go and focus your energy on being who you were created to be and leave all the haters and fakers to themselves. Enjoy your life , make yourself happy everyday. Just imagine what it would feel like if everyone made themselves happy and didn't depend on others for that, yes friends and family make life more enjoyable but they shouldn't make your life...So if you will just run your race and not let people control or manipulate you, you will not only have less strife and stress in your life, but i know you will have more time and energy,, and you will be free to fulfill the best plan that God has for you......Ultimate result a happier You and best of all the real "You" ....!
