Good Morning. Do you believe everything in print? Well I surely don’t but some do. You may too I have no idea if you do or don’t. The Chicago Sun Times recently published an article that stated “It is impossible to lick your elbow....” Over 75% of people who read this will try to lick their elbow. 38 percent will try to lick someone else's and 62 percent just want to be licked period! Hmm I may have that last tidbit of useless information incorrect…. But the fact is still there…not the licking!!!! PLEASE. Don’t get me started… Ok the fact is still there that most individuals believe anything that is type written. There are reasons books have various classifications.. you know fiction, non-fiction, horror and fantasy…the list goes on…Yesterday I opened an email from a wonderful lady and it was titled “I wonder if this is true” The article was basically statements given by others who apparently did research on an up coming presidential candidate. I will not vote for him either way and had not planned on voting for him anyway so that little tidbit of info did not sway me in one Iota…Iota is that a town between Iowa and South Dakota? No matter… but the little things that were written although may or may not be true I logged into my brain as gospel. I mean this is an email and I already thought it to be 100% on target. I asked myself, well in a way that no questions were read out loud… but to myself am I prejudice to this man because of his color? No… Do I think his ethnic background makes him a terrorist accomplice?? The Jury is still out in my head on that one… but, this man has done nothing to make me feel either way yet I gave him
The axe before the block of wood was laid out. So in my case I would say I did believe everything that I read and that makes me sad…so then words like gullible, come into play. I think we as a walker of this earth tend to give everyone a once over whether we like to face that fact or not… Oh well… back to trying to lick my elbow…
