I had a weird day at work. My computer had strange quirks. It was a slow day also, and I hate those. This month is kind of trudging by. We got snow tonight here in Missouri. It wasn't alot and it isn't very cold out, so hopefully it will not freeze. I hate the ice - I also hate the dumbasses that can't drive in typical winter weather. I went and saw "King Lear" yesterday with my sister and bro in-law. A very complex play, but very good. If theater is done right, it can be very compelling. If it's not, then it's just the Hallmark channel. In the play, Lear has a court fool who basically comments on the absurd and ironic situations that happen. Are bloggers now court fools? Possibly, although I would have to put myself in the category whether I like it or not.

I'm watching the continuous blitz regarding Anna Nicole Smith's death. I think it's sad that she's gone, but any coverage should be due to the bizarre way her life turned, and the way the mystery continues to unravel. Any comparisons to Marilyn Monroe or Jayne Mansfield to me is pretty shabby. The Frank Shamrock/Renzo Gracie fight is tommorrow night on Showtime. I will watch. It's pretty crazy how big MMA is getting now. Will it last? I'm not sure, but so far there is a glut for it. I have kind of long weekend, so I better make the most of it. Yeah I know - I've said that before...

So, the girl I referred to earlier on this space, I met her on Sunday. Sometimes, pictures are not accurate. She was much cuter than I expected. She was very cool, but shy at first. She kept fiddling with a newspaper at first. Later on, when we scoured through Westport, she opened up and showed her personality, which I liked. We hung out for over 3 hours, which is long for a first date/hangout. Maybe my cold heart is thawing, but I hope it's not the last time we hang out.

This week has kind of dragged. I had a strange day at work. My computer kept screwing up. I had this guy totally threaten to sue me - oh darn. This guy was the total stereotypical shady loud attorney. He was pretty pathetic and after the call, I was glad he was no longer in my ear. I only work a half day tommorrow, which is good. The weather here is still cold, but not so much ice. I talked to my friend Brian. He and his wife are going to Miami for the Super Bowl. Bastard. I love the guy though - I hope he has a good one. Then again, how could you not have a good time in Florida?

This weekend went very quick. Damn. The cold weather continues to stay. It has been brutal here. Oh well - I'll take that over the ice. I started talking to this girl a little from myspace. She seems pretty cool. The fact that I'm blogging about her says alot, but then don't read too much into it. We'll see how it goes... I'm updating some new pics today. My beard is pretty long right now. Will I keep it? I don't know the answer - yet...

I did a Cherry Blast today - let's see if it works. I went out last night for my brother in-law's birthday - we all had a good time. Some of my sister's friends are really cool - some are kind of interesting. Most of them were married with kids, and were more complex than moi. Today I vegged, typed, ate pizza and watched TV. The snow started falling today some more. We may avoid the freeze though, which would be nice. Snow I can deal with, but not fucking ice.
