A lot of people ask me who exactly I am, and up until now I have never had the answer for that question... technically still don't but lets give it a whirl shall we?

My name is Randy Kaster, Owner, Founder, Designer and CEO of the iRock Network... yes that's right, I created it, but not just me, I have had the help of some very talented people that have stuck with me through the good and the bad and I'm sure there will be much more to come. But unlike most social networking founders I would like to get a little more personal with you, that way you don't have to fish around online and waste your time trying to find out details about me (if that was in your plans).

First and foremost I am from the south, southern born and southern bred, I believe in southern hospitality and if you were to show up at my residence you have more of a chance of being invited in for some good conversation and some sweet tea, and if your not to weird (more than me that is) then will probably be invited to stay for dinner. I am the daddy of 2 wonderful little boys who are my entire world and 3 wonderful little girls (from my current relationship) whom I absolutely adore as well. If you were to enter my name into Google you will see years upon years of information because I am a social networking butterfly, kind of strange that I now own and operate one eh? Also I not only run the iRock Network but I am an engineer drilling for our natural resources (yes oilfield... no fracking is not going to kill you). I am also a Nationally Accredited Firefighter with full credentials and enjoy doing public service. Somebody asked me that if I was to ever get famous would I still ride the engine and put out fires or pull people from the wreckage of a motor vehicle accident and my reply is, HELL YES... matter of fact I would have tons more free time to do this haha! I am also a musician and have my own signature series guitar made from Brazilian Rosewood designed exclusively by Deadwood Guitars out of Athens, Georgia, Jason Booth is wonderful at what he does. I was with multiple bands including a few that were highly successful enough for us to play in front of ten thousand plus fans (I know right!) I am generally the first to stick my neck on the line for you and I am probably the most compassionate person I know... just ask a few of your fellow members on iRock how many times I have sat and listened to what happened to them that day just so I could try to help with their problems... I'm a problem solver... it's what I do.

Most common question asked to me is why I designed the iRock Network. My answer to that is fairly simple, I designed iRock to better serve the music and entertainment arts industry. I wanted everybody to have an alternative to your everyday major corporation social networking websites. We get so caught up in our day to day activities that we forget that the artists that truly make these pages are just like you and I and are trying to promote themselves so that they may one day be on that list of greats that are celebrated and remembered. It is our job to make sure to help them in that journey. All features on iRock are free and if I have it my way they will remain that way. Just to get this out in the open the iRock Network is not just for the music industry, it is for all walks of life and everybody that includes. Alright well, that is all for now.... can't just give you every detail... have to leave something for Wikipedia HAHAHA.
