DIY kitchens..yes or no?

I am looking at getting a new kitchen, picked one out from IKEA that is reasonably priced and is exactly what I want. What I am not so sure on is how hard it is to put it together and install it. I have a few able bodied male family members that are willing to help, but just wondering if anyone has any experience with putting them together and can let me know if they are as easy to put together as they say they are, or whether its worth paying a tradie to do it?
