on a boardwalk close by, there was a beautiful blonde woman cogitating about her ideal man. She was reviewing the digital pics she had taken along the beach with her arms propped up against the wooden railing on the fishing side of the boardwalk.
A tall, unassuming sort of man was jogging out towards the fishing side of the boardwalk, admiring the beauty of the sunny day, the gulls flying about, the scent of fish bait and captured fish as the fishing poles standing in formation waited for more. The American flag on his T-shirt broadcast his love for America.
An unexpected seagull swooped out of nowhere and harrassed the blonde woman's golden locks, and without thinking the woman swatted at the mean gull. Her digital camera launched itself from her grip and was headed for a tumble on the unforgiving pier.
The patriotic jogger was always keenly aware of his surroundings when jogging. Every little bird that was in flight, or person milling about was recorded in his mind's eye. Just then, out of nowhere a flying digital camera arched into his view. Without thinking and not breaking stride, his right arm instantly struck out to meet the tumbling digital camera in flight, rescuing it from a doomed fate, the cherished pictures saved within that would have been lost forever.
Behind the digital camera he saw flashes of blonde launching itself, but missing the digital camera within inches of outstretched fingers. Because the patriot was so focused on saving the digital camera, he didn't notice that the blonde flash had a complete woman attached to it.
With the digital camera saved in his right hand, the jogger caught the falling blonde woman in his left arm, forcing him to halt his jog for a moment. With a bent pose, he looked down to see a beautiful blonde face looking back up at him with awe and amasement. She had beautiful expressive eyes that puzzled over how she ended up in this stranger's arms.
The patriot jogger looked down at her, smiled, and said, "I take it this was your digital camera you were trying to make a touchdown catch with?" He smiled and giggled because he was thinking about a beautiful blonde woman while jogging, and how wonderful it would be to meet her, wherever she was. Now, here she was, plopped into his arms from nowhere looking back up at him with gratitude.
The jogger lifted the blonde back up onto her feet when she said, "Yes, that's my digital camera. I can't thank you enough! I had my children's pictures in there!" The patriot was raining sweat from his jog, which the blonde found intriguing, masculine, and powerful, her white night having saved her precious little digital camera.
The patriot said, "It helps if you use the wrist strap when swatting at obnoxious gulls. You have a great day now." He giggled as he continued on his jog, wondering if the blonde was checking out his runner's buns.
The blonde wondered who this man was that just jogged into her life as she admired his retreating runner's buns. Maybe he's a good man? Maybe he's a romantic like her? Since she was a jogger too, she raced up to run alongside the patriot man, and said, "Say, I jog too, do you mind if I run along with you for awhile?"
The patriot jogger smiled at the blonde's assertive nature and said, "Run with me, dear lady!" Off they went along the boardwalk, stride for stride, the patriot man and the blonde, chattering away at each other like kids in highschool.
